Intermittently, I have the following problem with my Chronos 1.4.  It saves out
files that my computer cannot read.  When I try to open them on my PC, I
get the below error message.  If I try re-saving on the Chronos, it continues
to give the same error message; in other words it is not fixable by simply
going into the Play menu of Chronos and re-saving it as another file.
I am scared to death this is going to happen when I am running a very expensive
experiment.
FWIW, I have it set on H.264 format, 99.99 bits per pixel, and 1 as "saved file framerate".
Please let me know how to prevent this from ever happening again.

Well, I guess I will try to answer my own question.  Use as few microseconds of exposure as possible while still getting enough light to capture your video.  The larger the exposure-time, the more motion-blur you will get in your frame images.

    I am running Chronos 1.4 with standard 12.5-75 zoom lens, f 1.2-16, 3.5ft-infinity focus.
I am running 12,578 frames per second and 320x320, 1x gain, .  My only question is:  What exposure-value
do you recommend using ?  According to the camera,
I can set the exposure to anything between 1 and 79.49 microseconds.  I think I have been using
about 14.7microseconds in the past.  But, what value should I be using ?  (The subject is a projectile at 2400 feet/second.)

I only got my 1.4 a few days ago.  But, mine does the same type of thing.  So far, my "fall-back"
plan is to hit the RED record button on the top of the camera as soon as the display screen shows up.
Somehow this makes it "stay awake" instead of powering right back down all by itself.....
Well, that above method did not work consistently.  Boy-oh-boy, if you get that sucker to
turn on, you better leave it on for the rest of the day until you are completely finished
with your tests.  I honestly thought at one point that I had made the three-hour trip for
NOTHING and was going to have to go home empty-handed.

Quick question for everyone that this is happening to: Does it happen on Battery, AC, or AC + Battery?
It happens when plugged directly into the AC-socket of my wall (with battery also inside camera).  It happens with battery+AC.  It
happens with just-battery.
I have not tried it without the battery inside the camera.

Can the chronos 1.4 take an existing mp4 file and save it back out to the SD-card at a *different* "Saved File Framerate"
than the mp4 was originally saved as?
