Chronos User Discussion / Overlay out of screen
« on: February 03, 2022, 10:28:50 PM »
I just downloaded the latest software and noticed the overlay still runs out of the frame at over 8800fps.  Much of my shooting is in the 40k fps range and the overlay takes up a large amount of the frame as well as the time clipped off at the end.

Us there any way to change the size of the overlay for higher frame rates?

Hi Buddlich.  Yes, that is my thinking too.  Count down from first saved frame if possible.  Having the time stamp banner stay at the same relative size as the higher resolution would be nice since the scale in 1500 frames per second is perfect.

Chronos User Discussion / Time Stamps

I am running ver 0.3.1 software and have done initial experimentation up to 38k frame rate.  The time stamps are handy for some tests but on frame rates over 3k, much of the image is obscured and the time stamp falls off leaving only the frame number (which is still very handy as one can still get a time sequence).

Shown below is a bullet leaving a rifle at about 1000 m/s.  A bit grainy but this was my first try.
