You make decent points. I guess the low-profile version, if we need to go with always-visible to please the masses, would be preferable.

And I'd skip the drag-drop customization idea. Just a huge can of worms, especially when trying to provide tech support.

I like the dark theme, but not a fan of the top-bottom bars taking up vertical space. The image should be the primary object.

Maybe make the toolbars translucent so the image is visible, full-screen, behind them (see new iOS camera app)? Also allow users to "pin" one or both toolbars on screen, else they [fade to 50%? fade to 0%? auto-hide? compress down to one text line each?] until the next touch event. Personally I never really want any data on the screen while recording, it's not useful in that moment, should be hidden until needed.

Been playing with color grading some old footage. Getting better.

Did you happen to do any comparisons before and after the patch?

What's Voltage vs Charge? What is each trying to tell me? Does the regular user need both?

Simon fixed the colours and it looks great - reds especially show up way better now.

Oh THAT'S exciting!

We have opted to delay the release until this is done, because colour is a fairly important feature of the colour cameras. We're hoping to have something ready next week.

Soooo, how are things with you? Work going OK? ;)

A "Disable this message until reboot" checkbox could work. It would still need to pop the first time, but would save people from forgetting to turn the warning back on.

Also, if you get your Chronos whith 16 GB already built in, you would only have to buy 1 Stick of 16 GB Ram for Maximum Configuration (32 GB).

Are you sure about that? I'd expect the 16GB models to have two 8GB sticks installed.

I was figuring that whatever you caught the video of would move through the middle frame

My shots have been mostly of objects near the center of the frame. But yeah, for shots with an object moving across the frame, this could be useful.

I can't decide. You pick. :)

But here's a wrench in the works: When changing any of parameters, there'll be a disconnect between what's "selected" as a preset, and what's shown below.

When one alters any of the values, should the presets dropdown "gray out" or otherwise indicate that "what's in this box is no longer accurate, please refer to the individual boxes below"?

Tap to zoom would be perfectly fine for quick double-check-focus actions. But then again, that's assuming that one's focus point is in the center of the frame. If not, one would need to tap to zoom, then drag to recenter on the focus point. So maybe pinch-zoom-pan is the only universally usable option.

I like simplicity of code, but now I'm torn. :)
