What kind of contraption are you shooting from? I want a system to fire some objects from, similar to a Tennis Ball Cannon.

I'm using a vacuum cannon but for anything larger than a ping pong ball it won't work (has to do with the mass of the air in the barrel vs. the mass of the ball). Before you build anything check your local laws as going over certain speeds or Ek can get you in big trouble.

Balance wheel of a mechanical watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1Yj3CAm5V8

You can also see the escapement wheel behind the balance wheel as well.

Beautiful, I love high speed ballistics shots.

We have a Mach 1 cork cannon here at Krontech, I'l see if I can compile the ballistics video we have shot and put it into a compilation.

I'm not a big fan of firearms, however things that can launch corks, ping-pong balls and larger past the speed of sound is simply brilliant.

DerpykV, your going to have to take some more shots with it and an (realtime) overview video.

nik282000, love how you can see the pressure wave build up and the disk break just before the ball touches it.
I'm assuming you've tried it with clear packing tape too? I've used it very well in the past. That with enough lighting, the ball painted black/white and the camera aimed as strait down the barrel as you dare would give give a very interesting shot indeed.

tesla500 has some video of it on his channel. It is his gun. Another good one is my high-speed spud gun, I have some video of that one. I'll make a GIF of it and post it here.

400 psi? Holy crap! What kind of speeds were you getting?

Electra, on my early versions of the cannon, air that slipped past the ball would build up and pop the mylar like you mentioned but in the gif I posted I am using a modification that eliminates the back pressure and allows the ball to hit and break the mylar directly. I do have some transparent mylar in the shop but I haven't tired it yet as it is heavier than what I am currently using and I'm not sure if it will negatively impact the ball speed. Lots more to think about and test on my end.

Managed to get a short clip of some lightning last night.

Sadly it was mostly horizontal and no strikes in the vicinity to capture.
Still looks cool I think.

Got another compilation done. Headed out to the range to knock off a few rounds and got some pretty cool footage.

Anyone think it could be a cool idea to do a Chronos 1.4 Footage Compilation on one of the larger YouTubers channels?
I think Tao did something like this a long time ago?
Be a great way to get some of the cool footage we all film into public eyes.
Of course it would only be with the generosity of one of these remarkable larger channels. But I think it would make for some good viewing!

To be honest at this current moment Krontech currently does not have the production capacity to deal with a higher order rate than we currently do. Once we have the Kickstarter orders completed and we can expand into a larger office/production facility it should be good.
