Hi,

I am a scientist with an extreme interest in using the Chronos 1.4 for highspeed video analysis to study the biomechanics of sound production in different insects. I would like to be able to correlate motion analysis with sound recorded from an external microphone on a frame-by-frame basis.

When will a synchronized analog input be developed in the firmware?

Thanks,

Ormia,  I think you could do this now with the current features.  If you have an external timing signal to control the frame rate, just share that signal with your DAQ on a separate channel.  Example: on your DAQ Chan-1 is your sound capture, Chan-2 is your camera timing pulse.  Use the waveform to aid in accurately merging audio and video.  Does that seem to fit your requirements?
