Lenses for the Chronos
« on: September 29, 2019, 11:59:45 AM »
I've started doing work on acquiring and fixing vintage lenses and I came across a sales lot of about 8 of these Rainbow TV Zoom H6X8 (8-48mm) II f1.0 lenses that I've gone to the trouble of cleaning and refurbishing to like-new condition (with the exception of a few minor body wear issues): https://www.ebay.com/itm/293252511542

I also have a Fujinon-TV Zoom H6x12.5R 12.5-75mm f1.2 and two Cosmicar lenses (75mm f1.4 and 12.5mm f1.9) that are in very good optical condition and some minor body wear/dings.

Since the Chronos is built around the c-mount system, I figured this community would be most interested in picking up these lenses, so if anyone is, feel free to let me know in this thread or by email.

Rainbows (x8) are currently going between $120-$130 depending on body condition
Fujinon is $85
75mm Cosmicar is $150
12.5mm Cosmicar is $85

Shipping will depend on weight/carrier/country.

8-48mm Lens should Cover 1/2" (I Dont Own That Lens, just form Test images i have seen) Should work well for the 1.4 with higher Framerates, will Vignett on Full 1.4 Sensor. On the 2.1 i Would only Reccomend for VERY high Frame Rates (if Full Image With is not needed).
.
12.5-75mm Fujinon will Cover 2/3" and is therefor a good fit for the 1.4. Will Vignet seriously on the 2.1!
.
75mm Cosmicar will work well on Both, the 2.1 and 1.4 at any given Resolution.
.
12.5 Should cover the 1.4 with no Problem, but will give quite some Vigneting and Black corners on the 2.1!
