Very nice Video!Just in the 3k and 5,4k fps shots its a bit much chromatic abberation from the Lens for my taste, or the Camera does something funky in Debayering (That was an problem with the 1.4 initialy also.).marcus said:Saw this on YouTube by Scott Aichner: (Sprinkler test at 1000fps 2142fps 3385fps 5406fps)

That was fixed by a change of the Default Debayering algorithm in Firmware. If you use Older Firmware with the 1.4 and shoot a scene like this, it still looks very bad. Lots of very colorfull pixels everywhere they shouldnt be....Thats because for very small highlights some Debayering algorithms just assume that this very bright (In reality white) pixel would actually be the Color of the Pixel, and not white.marcus said:Nikon1 said:Very nice Video!Just in the 3k and 5,4k fps shots its a bit much chromatic abberation from the Lens for my taste, or the Camera does something funky in Debayering (That was an problem with the 1.4 initialy also.).marcus said:Saw this on YouTube by Scott Aichner: (Sprinkler test at 1000fps 2142fps 3385fps 5406fps)

Was that later fixed through software or a hardware change?
The "Black" areas of the image have some funky color noise, but the Well-Lit Areas look very nice. .tesla500 said:

We should have great stuff coming since we have two sunny explosion days on this week. I have something out probably on next weekend.
Big Respect for those Follow-Focus shots! .solo501 said:Hi
this is my test of camera light lens and follow focus. First 3 videos are with old firmware and the
rest with new firmware.
