SMB Protocol Version

Dear Developers,

our fileserver recently updated and I found the camera was not able to connect to the smb share anymore. The solution was found in your manual: smb protocol version 1 is used by the camera, which is now not supported by default on our server.
Are there plans to update to a more recent and safer version of the smb protocol?

I don't think newer versions of SMB are supported with the Jessie version of Debian which the Chronos 1.4 and 2.1 models run. You could try NFS as an alternative or if you're tech savvy, you could manually configure a file server to run on the Chronos, and have your server or computer connect to it as a client
