I have been using Topaz Denoise 6 to perform debanding to eliminate/reduce the vertical banding on the Chronos 1.4 footage. I perform frequent black calibrations on the camera (which is running for hours at a time) but there many times still is noticeable vertical banding. Topaz 6 has a vertical and horizontal debanding function along with batch processing that works fairly well for this purpose.
The problem is the software will not run on my more powerful desktop computer with a RTX-3090 graphics card, so I have to use my slower laptop to do the debanding operation. A longer sequence with 3,000 frames can take 6 hours! I tried the new versions of Topaz Denoise AI, but the debanding function has been removed and there is apparently no way to do what I need in their newest versions.
Is anyone aware of other software that does good-enough vertical banding removal and/or a manual workflow in something like Photoshop that I could automate for batch processing with scripting?
