please help if you know how to make a trigger cable

I attached one to the braided shield but still not able to successfully trigger it. BTW, I'll make a 10m long trigger once I know how to make it.

I'm pretty sure the connection to the center conductor isn't reliable (from the picture the wire is just resting on the wire from the coaxial cable). Try touching the center wire directly to the braided shield with no jumper wires.

If it still doesn't work then make sure the parameters are set as @skronstein said earlier.

Many thanks to you all. It worked  ;D

I make sure there is continuity between the braided shield and the central conductor by measuring the resistance (4.2 kohm). Then I change the setting to 1mA pullups only.
