Chronos User Discussion / Mounting Camera to Microscope
« on: January 15, 2019, 12:40:21 PM »
I am new to camera mounts and am a bit confused whether my setup would work.
I am using olympus BX51 microscope that currently has f (male?) mount setup from previous camera (phantom, if that helps clear up male vs female).
Would it work to use F to C adapter to connect chronos? Here is adapter I am looking at:
https://www.amazon.com/Fotodiox-Adapter-C-Mount-Aperture-Control/dp/B00T0QVLL2/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_421_bs_tr_img_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=VD0N98WSX4P6P4H98QFX
Or is it worth is to spend the extra $150 and get the official C-mount from olympus?
Thanks!
