Title: Help with 16 BIT RAW
Post by: Chrisser on January 18, 2020, 04:48:42 PM
Hello all,

I shot a test on a 1.4 and saved as 16 bit RAW. Nothing in my arsenal of software will play it back. Do I need to convert to Cinema DNG first?

Thanks !

Yes, you can convert your shot to cinemaDNG with our python script.
In case you didn't know, details are here:
https://github.com/krontech/chronos-utils/blob/master/python_raw2dng/README.md (https://github.com/krontech/chronos-utils/blob/master/python_raw2dng/README.md)
and here is the topic for it:

If you're on 0.3.1 or later software, you can save directly to DNG or TIFF formats with no need to transcode.
