What is the maximum size of the ring buffer?

Maximum Size of the Ring buffer is 8GB, 16GB or 32GB, depending on which configuration you buy. It is also possible to Upgrade the Memory size later.
This will result in different Recording times, look at the datasheet, it is listed there by resolution and Framerate. For Lower Framerates (Not using the Maximum Framerate for the given Resolution) the Recording time will be longer.
Maximum Size of the Ring Buffer therfore is equal to the time in the Datasheet for given resolutions.
