Title: Switching Video State from "Play" to "Live"
Post by: JNP_KNT on March 19, 2020, 01:13:51 PM
Very new to the cameras and the software. My lab is working with an array of 12 Chronos 1.4 cameras running V0.4.0 software and we are currently trying to control them through their IP addresses. We've figured out how to save video data to an nsf, but doing this leaves the video state in "Play". We end up having to reset each camera after recording to revert to "Live". I was trying to figure out if the API has a way to revert this to "Live" without resetting the cameras

This has been fixed in the unstable branch of the software, so that they now go back to "Live" if the filesave was started from "Live." They can be switched to that branch using the software update tool, which can be started with the Apply Software Update button under Util->Storage.
