Title: High Speed Motion Control Slider
Post by: julien on February 12, 2021, 05:38:58 AM
Here is my last project that I wanted to share with you, a high speed slider, controlled by Arduino. It is almost finalized :)
Intended to carry 2kg (Kronos 2.1 + 24mm Probe Lens) at 4m / s for macro traveling shots at 1000 fps, mainly for foods stuff.

Next step, create a cage to securely hold the camera and lens! :)

That thing is seriously fast, i like it! Just as an idea for future projects, you could add a Second axis to it, a pan, which would allready make for some Serious Motion Control Setup.

It could be done :)
But with the Probe lens, the movement will be hardly visible.
But once the slider is finished, I would like to make a 360 rotary axis, motorized;)
