Title: Image Based Triggering?
Post by: Kuhny1 on June 13, 2021, 06:14:29 PM
Hey all,

Was wondering if image based triggering is still in the plans. I feel like I could rig something up through python or something Arduino based but it would still be nice to have it as a built in feature.

Thanks!

This is currently discussed in this other thread here also:

The general list includes both standard proportions (1:1, 4:3, 16:9 etc.) and popular sizes for publishing images on social media. Are you able to choose something?
Let me explain. The image upsacler (https://depositphotos.com/upscaler.html) editor makes it easy to resize an image, regardless of its original format. I turned a poster into a slide for a presentation. If you know the name of the format, start typing it into the search bar and it will automatically appear below. After resizing, you can drag the graphic elements to other locations or change the design completely. The values (1:1, 4:3, 16:9 etc.) are optional if you are working online.

I am still completely lost trying to understand what you write here...?
Is it an Question or a Statement or an advert for that website?
This is an thread about an feature of the Krontech Chronos Cameras that once was advertised but so far has not been Implemented yet.
Now you are talking about some Online AI Upscaling Service here, that does only seem to support single Images, from an 10 second look at that page (i currently have no interest or really time to look into that in detail, also seems pretty useless for video at least for me, unless video upscaling and full offline use is supported).
I cant see the Connection between the two yet, please clarify. Otherwise this seems VERY off Topic...
 .
If you have a question regards this Software or Service, whatever that even is you linked, try to Start an new Topic in the Board "Chronos User Discussion" if Specific to the Chronos Cameras, or on the Board "General high-speed discussion" if somehow Related to Highspeed Cameras and post a clear Question there, or find a existing Topic that is at least somewhat related to your Question. If its not connected in any way to Highspeed Cameras or the Chronos Cameras made by Krontech, you probably be better off finding some other forum that is about Photography in general.
If this is trying to be a statement about how this Software can improve the Output of this Camera, then please try to explain how, also there are already a bunch of threads about Upscaling and similar things, so it might be better to post that there or, if it doesnt quite fit into any of those existing ones, also make a new one.

I am really trying to not be rude here, but i think you somehow are in the wrong place here (at least in this Thread), unless i am missing something obvious. If there is a connection, please elaborate, on how this Upscaling Software/ Service relates to image based Triggering of the Camera?
