Title: Multiple Cameras synced together
Post by: ptrautne on October 07, 2017, 10:34:09 AM
I have a application where I have 3 chronos cameras that I wanted to be synced together so each frame is taken at the same time. How should the cameras be connected so one camera is the master and the other 2 are slaves?

Set the master to frame sync output in trigger settings, and the slave cameras to shutter gating mode. Then connect all the cameras BNC ports together The master will then control the frame rate and shutter speed of the slaves, and they will be synchronized.

Edit: The slave cameras must be set to the same or smaller resolution, and the same or greater frame rate than the master camera.
