Title: shooting in a waterhousing
Post by: patrickrebstock on October 16, 2017, 12:34:52 PM
Hey David,
i am having my water housing made and want to get a grasp of what controls i will need
like we talked about before is there a mode we can make that makes it so you can just trigger a recording and then have it automatically save the whole buffered clip,
that way it is slow to save but at least you dont need to mess around will going though the play menu while in the water to save
i assume that i would have the camera all ready powered on, resolution set, black calibration done and white balance set before putting it into the housing.
it would be nice to be able to have the camera off with those setting saved(so you don't waste all your battery while getting ready to get into the water, and then just power up with last framerate, black cal, white balance set
interested to see what we can do

I too am in need of the auto-saving feature although I'm not shooting in a water housing.  I assume that after the camera is finished saving the file it would automatically go back into Recording mode and wait for another trigger, is this correct?

yes i would want it to go back to automatically in to recording mode after saving so then it can be triggered again

lens is awesome, doent fully covver the sensor but is crazy wide and just needs a little bit of cropping to get the corners
waiting for new firmware with waterhousing record and save functions then finishing the housing stoked
