Thank you for the informative reply. We will probably not try to install Debian in the near future. We found out that we most likely can do what we want with the trigger inputs and the HDMI output with an HDMI recorder.

Hello,

I'm trying to use the Chronos 1.4 camera for scientific purposes. My goal is to connect the camera to the local network, send a trigger signal to start/stop recording and exposure trigger mode with a second variable frequency trigger signal. I got the exposure trigger mode work with a signal generator on the BNC.

I know that ethernet support is in the pipeline, and are coming soon. But I have no time to waste, so if someone knows a hack on how to make ethernet work, that would be nice. I saw that tesla500's youtube video Chronos Ring used Gigabit ethernet to download the videos to a server. Did he install the developing Debian version?
