Chronos User Discussion / Multiple Camera Networking
« on: October 25, 2022, 10:36:50 PM »
Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it exactly.

I have a 2.1 and 1.4 that I've had great success with. I'm trying to run them both simultaneously over ethernet using the webpage GUI. I'm able to access both cameras using an ethernet switch and multiple tabs using static IPs for the cameras. Is there a simple way to have them start and stop recording simultaneously over ethernet?

I have not been running a separate trigger line, just using the ethernet start/stop feature, so it requires clicking on both tabs to start/stop both cameras.

That was a good thought. I tried from Live Boot running Ubuntu, but still couldn't find the lost video files. Thanks though!

I ran into a similar problem today using an SD card. I think the issue was that I inadvertently had a "\" in the file name - what I assume is an unacceptable character. My story is the same, the camera acted like it saved normally, didn't throw a warning, and I didn't realize my mistake until I put the card into my computer and realized the file wasn't there. If there were a confirmation that the file saved, or a way to show files in the current folder, it would be very useful in my opinion. Thanks!
