Hello,
I just saw in the 2.1 manuel that there is no mention about the 100.000 fps as the max framerate as it was said as the camera was introduced. In fact the max framerate is now shown lower as that of the 1.4. did you change that by purpose or is it just not up to date?

I just made a little video of some shots in different fps.

I still struggle to get the flickering out of the video. Especially in the dimmer videos there is immense flickering. Even with a new black calibration and without any Gain boost.
@hydraulicpresschannel: Those videos with the chronos ring are just stunning! Can't wait to see more
The intro footage is very promising!

Made a small comparison of the different frame rates now that we are able to shoot with 40.000 fps!
Some strange image Error / Bug accured at 22.000 fps as you can see in the video. I wasn't able to fix that with black and white calibration :/ at 40.000 fps everything was fine again.

40.000 FPS ... awesome how far the camera has come.

PS: I also have those problems with the flickering even after black cal. with the higher frame rates.
Also the fan seems to go crazy and goes full power from the first second on...

Lights!!
If you don't already have some, buy the 200W Lights. One, ore better two.
I've always underestimated how much light you need for highspeed videos.
The 2.1 censor has bigger pixels but, more light is always better

Well, a while ago I read on your Facebook page, that you visited Canada's Trade Accelerator Program. That sounds like you read my comment - or you may just had the same thought as I had.
Are there potential plans to create some kind of store in europe, so there are no customs or import taxes? If so, I can promise you - you would definitely have one more buyer of the 2.1

I'm realy fighting with myself If I should just buy one right now... Only the 19% tax for the import to Germany is such a pain in the a... That fact is the only thing holding me back ordering one right now (that would be around 1000€ for nothing >.< ...)
If you would just open a store in the EU ... That would be awesome. :'D
