Chronos User Discussion / Max framerate limitations
« on: May 01, 2020, 02:23:39 AM »
Maybe somebody can help me understand. I do not know exactly what the limitations of the sensor are, but my question is this:

At maximum resolution on the 1.4 we get about 1000fps at 360 degrees. Why can the camera not get a higher framerate at 180 degrees? Since the sensor is only active half of the time.

ie, Is it possible to increase the framerate at a specific resolution by limiting the shutter to a smaller value?

Shot some more Vacuum Cannon explosions. This time I shot a full can of soda which turned out really nice, and some eggs that did not turn out so well.. but made a really big mess, lol.

Played around with a 2 foot vacuum cannon shooting ping pong balls.

My first video ever, be kind, lol. But feel free to give any comments on how I can improve filming or camera settings etc.

The hardest thing I was having trouble with is LIGHT! Or rather the lack thereof. I did get a 1kw tungsten spotlight that may help for the next video. But I really need to find some good DIY lights I can make.

@NiNeff, what ram are you running now?

I am wanting to upgrade my camera to 32g and would prefer to buy sticks known to work with the camera.

Does this mean we can upgrade our 16g camera to a 32g one, just by dropping in a second 16g card?

if yes, do you have any links to where I can purchase said 16g card that will be fully compatible?

They said they made several extra cameras to go beyond the current orders. So your wait should be just at the end of the existing orders in front of ya.

My deliver date is tomorrow.. cant wait..

Guess I need to finally decide on a sd now.. :)
