The year ends with a curfew.
And what can you record in slow motion, locked up at home?
There is some fruit and vegetables ... and somewhere should also be my RAM shotgun ... mhh ... does a battery actually fit in there?

Indeed!!

I wish you merry Christmas and a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better year 2021 than 2020.
Until next year :)

I got finally my new high pressure chamber done and it has windows! I am not sure has anybody else filmed underwater implosions with high speed cameras before but I am pretty hyped up about the project. Here are the first clips that I filmed https://youtu.be/WD7CfnQC5HQ?t=294

I ordered already wider lens so I can fit larger things on the picture. I definitely want to try glass bottles with Chronos next.

I am also planning maybe to build a larger cylinder if these videos get enough views to justify the investment.

Last video with the old software :)
https://youtu.be/fzczkPnsEVk

I tried to build my own match rockets. I mean - the Slow Mo Guys could do it, so it should be no problem building them myself... will.. it turned out, that like 90% of them failed spectacular :D
But it still made some incredibly cool slowmotion fottage! :)

I took a closer look at my daughters electric toothbrush.
Was quite suprised how the toothbrush can "suck" the water up to it's bristles. Are the the capillary forces of the water?

Some sequences from my Chronos 1.4 at 5900fps (because 2.1 doesn't work well at this resolotions) - upscaled at full HD with Topaz Video Enhance AI

Well, first post here at the Footage thread... Been using the camera for almost a year now, and for the majority of time I have had poor results. Now I'm using the dng frames, more light, and a lot of post processing to get better results, but, still far away from most footage I see here...

Anyway, my second attempt at the match rockets, used the King of Random tutorial, got nice results, a few rockets got too fast for 1500 fps... On the quality side, still learning how to proper expose the frame and place the camera. My lights are not flicker free, but I managed to reduce the flicker with LRTimelapse (not quite a timelapse but it works kind of in the same way right ), overexposed the frames on purpose this time, part of a try and error method...

I have a few decent hummingbird videos, will post later...
