I was able to compare the AEA HP MAX with the APS CAM870 in the Czech Republic last week on - it was easter time - eggs of course :'D

To bei fair: it is an unfair comparison because the AEA was in it's castrated German version with only 7.5J and the Cam used 21J (I think) CO2 shells. Next time I'll be there I need to open the airgun up to the 200J it can do. A shame I can't use both in Germany:(

Helped Rifle Dynamics study some of their guns with my Chronos 1.4. The STG44 was particular interesting. They have two and one of them has a lot of malfunctions. Here is the video I posted on Instagram.

First time I captured some lightning with the Chronos 1.4 since... I got mine 6 years ago or so :D
Main problem: My lense has a way too narrow field of view. I now put my Canon 17-40 mm lens on it to get a little bit mor FOV but it's still way to narrow.
Any suggestions what would make a nice wide field lens for the Chronos?

Filmed a Hungarian GM6 Lynx .50 BMG rifle with the Chronos. First time actually designing sound for the video.

I use the 7Artisans f/0.95 35mm MFT lens. I usually film at f/0.95 or f/1.2.

I have a Meike 35 0.95 lens as well and it's pretty sharp at 0.95! My Meike 50 0.95 is a bit soft low contrast wide open but not too shabby. It sharpens up at 1.2 and up. One of the benefits of the smaller 2/3 sensor is we can use these wide open apertures as the DOF is greater and more forgiving in getting the subject in focus.

Waterdroplets on a hot surface.
Nice to see that the bigger droplets stuck at the rough surface and start boiling immetiately and all those tiny ones bounce around because of the Leidenfrost effect.

Used a custom OLPF over the Chronos 1.4 sensor. See the anamorphic clip below I shot with the 1.4 to see the difference between with and without the OLPF. Really hoping Krontech can make an inhouse OLPF for the Chronos cameras cause they do make a difference in the reduction of aliasing/moire in bright specular highlights and very fine detail.
