Good day to everyone. I am interested in purchasing a Chronos 2.1-HD High Speed Camera, but I want to make sure that it will be capable, and "friendly", for accomplishing the task(s) that I have in mind. I have used a high-speed video camera before. It did the job but was cumbersome to use.
I will be using it to determine bolt carrier speeds on a weapon system, as well as analyzing misfeeds, etc. In the past I have marked a known distance on the receiver, as well as applied a mark to the carrier. When the weapon is fired, the entire assembly recoils and the high-speed camera captures the event. I could then analyze the event and determine the bolt carrier speed, even though there was relative movement of the both components of the assembly.
Would this camera allow such analysis? Thanks in advance.
