Hi,
I got hold of a real Nikon EL4a battery, but it doesn't fit in my Chronos 2.1HD! it goes in the compartment, but doesn't seem to engage with the contacts and the door won't close. Any ideas?

Hi Chrissie,
If the outside dimensions are exactly the same as the battery that shipped with the camera, it might be the width of the gap between the contacts on the battery itself.. How do the contacts on the new battery compare to the included one?

It's very subtle, but it looks like the distance between the edge of the battery and the contacts is slightly (like a fraction of a millimetre) smaller on the Nikon battery. I tried putting the battery in with some packing on that side of it to move it over but without any luck.

Oddly, I also got hold of an "Intensilo" battery - and that fits fine!
