Camera not updating

I followed al of the instructions on the Chronos manual to update the software but there is no difference afterwards. I started with V0.3.1 and tried updating to v0.7.1. But after I installed the file to my SD card, and placed it back into the camera, it still reads V0.3.1.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

Can you confirm, that you installed the File to a Micro-SD-Card, which was then Placed into the Bottom Slot for System SD-Cards as seen in the Manual on Page 42?:

 The Full-Size SD-Card Slot on the Top of the Camera, that is very obvious to see, is for Saving Footage only, placing a Card with any kind of Software into that Slot will do nothing. So make sure to always replace / update the Lower System SD-Card.

Yes, thank you Nikon1, I was uploading to the wrong SD card. I now uploaded to the correct micro-SD and the camera has updated. Thank you for your help.
