How are you powering your chronos 2.1?

I ve been working wiht mine for a bit and when wall power isn't an option due to mobility or remote shooting locations I have bene looking for a better solution than the nikon batteries the camera uses as it drains them so fast. I havent found a solution that allows me to power the camera off gold mount batteries and the camera requires 17-20v it seems instead of the standard 14.8v output a d tap into a gold mount battery would provide.

So what solutions is everyone using?

Personally I just bring a whole bunch of EN-EL4 batteries. I get about 45 minutes each with these ones from Kastar:

There are some D-tap holders that have a built in boost converter to produce 19V:

With one of those and a 50Wh battery I get about 1.5 hours of recording on the 2.1

Not sure how I missed the Ikan 19v plate, that may work but sadly they don't make a gold mount version. Still best solution so far

I'm not aware of a gold mount version either, however if you have gold mount batteries you could get a v-mount adapter plate to use them with the Ikan. I believe SmallRig makes one.
