Hi, two questions. Can anyone help with restoring a boot micro SD. It got erased in the process of trying to reinstalling camera software with the hopes of fixing. sensor issue. Also has anyone experienced this issue. I properly gain and black calibrated the camera and I am still experiencing these vertical lines. The Aperture was 1.4 and it was taken in a well lit scenario. Also I have a MAC OS operating system and do not have access to a PC. Thanks in advance,

Here are the instructions for restoring your microSD:

1. Download the latest Chronos software update package here:
   https://debian.krontech.ca/builds/chronos-voyager-20220124.img.xz
2. Download Raspberry Pi Imager for your operating system from here:
   https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/
3. Follow the steps outlined in our online-software update procedure video:
   

Note that although the video is demonstrating the process with a 4k12 model, it is mostly the same with all Chronos models.


Column banding artifacts are typically related to Black Calibration. Here are some things you could try:

• Ensure the sensor is receiving a pure black signal for the entire duration of Black Calibration
• Try Column Gain Calibration from the Factory tab of the Utils menu
• Always perform Black Calibration after changing sensor configuration settings such as the Resolution or Analog Gain
• Try a different sensor configuration, especially one from the presets drop down menu

Can you please share your Chronos serial number or more info on which model you have?

Do you know if it has the IR filter installed? The artifacts could be a byproduct of the filter being removed.

Are you using any Trigger I/O settings? Perhaps Shutter Gating or Frame Trigger was accidentally enabled.
